Introduction
Welcome to the Rainfall Data Modelling Portal. This site is
designed to make it easy (and completely free) for you and your fellow
amateur weather-watchers to obtain charts and statistics of your
collected data, and to share and compare your data with those collected
by others.
The results are presented in a form which can be easily downloaded
to your own PC, incorporated into Word documents, reports, or your own
web site if you have one (and automatically updated when you update
your data record at the RDMP), or the results can simply be printed
for posterity.
This facility was born out of the acknowledgment that amateur
meteorologists are a very valuable but unsung resource for scientific
discovery and research. In providing a simple method for you to analyze
your own data, it also allows scientists and professional
meteorologists the opportunity to benefit from the collective database
that is implicitly derived.
